Sources for Heroes Abilities/Powers

For our powers, we use powers lists from the Heroes Wiki, and the wikis of other roleplaying sites, particularly play by forum sites. This is a list of the more prominent ones we use. Note there may be links to further powers included in these.

If there is any question as to whether or not a power is restricted or banned, or playable please ask. Just because it doesn't appear on our banned list does not mean it might not be banned. Just because it doesn't appear on our restricted list does not mean it might not be restricted. Read the power and consider it before just putting it on your sheet. If it seems like something that might be banned or restricted, it probably is. Ask. It won't kill you, we promise.

These are the only sites we will accept powers from without reviewing them. If you find something on another site, you can submit it to us for review, and if we approve it, we'll tell you as well as add it to our list.

In addtion, you may also gain inspiration for powers from comic books, movies, TV shows and that sort of thing, but whatever power you wish to submit for approval, it can not be magical, supernatural, cybernetic, technological, etc in origin. It must be something you could theoretically be born with. This would be similar to mutants in Marvel's X Men series, for example. Submit them with a description and we'll review it, and if accepted, we'll add your submitted power to a thread for created powers.
