Personality: He is somewhat of a smart-ass. Coming from the south, he has a tendency to be a gentleman when it comes to women, but he is addicted to his party lifestyle. He also doesn't seem to want to settle down anytime soon. He doesn't have that many friends, just business partners, therefore his people skills are lacking a little.

Strengths: He is very knowledgeable when it comes to technology. His name is in every magazine when it comes to anything involving new things. He is very loyal to those who have earned his trust, and he surely doesn't mind using his inventions or his money to help people out if they truly deserve it. Once he gets to know them, its usually a pretty decent connection if they can get past his attitude.

Flaws: He has problems with drinking being he doesn't like being able to get messages out of thin air. He also has a weakness for women, spending money, and working too much. He has no social life other than his amazing parties, and he usually trusts people too quickly when he first meets them, even though he doesn't let people get too close.

Your Story: Alex's story hit the news at a young age. When he was 5, his mother was murdered in front of him in the streets of New York City. Luckily, someone intervened when it came to him. As a child, he said he couldn't remember anything, but he did remember the man's face, that was all he could remember. He couldn't even remember the murder or having a mother. The Cross Family was rather wealthy, or at least his dad was. He never knew his father, nor did he ever see him. Custody was turned over to his uncle back in Louisiana, where he was raised for most of his life until his first ability manifested. Soon thereafter, his father had disappeared after a flight, leaving him a rather large inheritance and Cross Enterprises. He turned both down, even though they were legally his.

He moved to NYC to further his education after graduating high school in Louisiana, finding an interest in everything to do with technology, getting anything he needed since an early age from his uncle. His ability made his work in school and in everything so much easier to do and accomplish. He lived a few years as a hacker and a student, learning how to use his ability to its maximum use. It helped him gain more money, creating tons of things that soon drew the wrong attention to him. He had to disappear for a bit. Especially when it came to those with abilities. So Jax earned his alias Zero, it became known online in a notorious fashion for hacking a government facility and then it just exploded. Interestingly enough, it never made the news, but he posted a video from a nearby traffic camera online.

After a decade of studying and graduating in the fields of engineering, and computer science, he took off and went to work for the business. They didn't listen to him or take him seriously, but he used his abilities to make Zero reappear and hack their systems, then coming in and saving the day. He soon ended up running things better, and transitioned it from advanced weapon development, and defense technologies into something new. He secretly hid those things under the ruse of a technological breakthrough in entertainment. He created new virtual screens at affordable prices and operating systems that ran faster and sold faster than any other. He created different video game consoles and even sponsored the making of movies and some music genres. Cross Enterprises became more and more popular, and he was all responsible for it.

His second ability came at the wrong time. He started getting tweets in his mind, then Facebook messages, Youtube videos, Match.com dating images and friend requests. He couldn't keep a clear mind. He took months off, letting his company slowly slide into complacency. And then in the middle of it, it all faded. One clear image. The man he saw as a child. An african man? No....Haitian. His abilities seemed to coincide with each other rather well.

His mission since then has been clear. Find that man. Find anything to anything to do with his past. He hasn't found anything that leads past that cold trail, so he has emerged himself in drinking and partying. Its easy to lose your way when your moral compass points away from everything you know and you have noone left.
