-----Personality Traits-----

Personality: He's the quiet type, who usually stays to himself, or with people he knows really well. To people who don't know him, he seems somewhat mysterious and withdrawn, but he's actually pretty friendly once he gets to know someone pretty well. Its not easy to become friends with him, but once you are, he's fiercely loyal and will fight to the end. It takes him time to warm up to people, but once he has, its usually for the duration

Strengths: He's strong willed, analytical, observant and resilient. He takes things in stride for the most part, and bounces back from setbacks pretty well. He has a very keenly developed instinct about people and can generally tell in the first few seconds of being around someone (not necessarily meeting them) if he would like them or not.

Your Story: Blake had been born in Memphis, Tennessee, and was raised there, until he was thirteen years old. His parents had both gotten better jobs with a better company, and had been asked to relocate. So, the Kirklands packed up their son and younger daughter, and moved to the Big Apple. The younger sister had blossomed in the new environment, making lots of new friends, and joining all sorts of clubs and such as she grew older.

Blake, on the other hand, had made a few few friends, but not many, in his school career. Mostly, he buried himself in playing music, and doing graphic art and web design on the computer. Between spending time with what few friends he'd made, making sure his younger sister was well protected and looked after, and working with his music and computers, Blake was happy.

Finally, one day, his life changed. There was a new girl in town, who lived nearby. They'd started talking, and before long, they were dating, and had fallen in love. She, like him, had a special gift, something that she could do that no other could. They joyfully grew even closer because finally, they felt like they had someone they could talk to. They'd spend hours together, most every day, doing the things that all dating couples do, that are in love, but also experimenting and displaying their powers to one another.

Then it happened. Something really big happened at the Sullivan Brothers carnival, something that the government was trying desperately to cover up. Almost immediately afterwards, a Virginia college student that had formerly been a cheerleader in Texas, proved to news cameras, and thereby the world, that specials did exist. The cat was out of the bag. Like most specials, Blake and Dahlia kept their gifts secret, but with the world being aware of their existence, they have to be even more careful. They have continued with their plans to move in together and eventually marry.
